I was able to work on the rx7 this weekend.
Nothing to speak of picture wise, but I got the motor back approximately an inch further, installed the drive shaft and worked on the transmission mount.
I need to extend it about an inch further rearward to work with the t56.
Shifter lines up great!
It's funny to me that these cars with the smallest factory engines happen to have the largest factory engine bays.

I wonder how much the overall weight of the vehicle changes, if any. Rotaries are compact, but pretty dense.

Its crazy how much more room there is in the rx7 enginge bay vs the 4th gen trans am the engine was removed from.

I've owned two V8-swapped FC RX-7s. The engine bays are perfect for the swap.
