Turns out the 1947 Stylemaster is actually a 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster... We stripped the car down to bare metal using a mixture of molasses and water.

Molasses is an old-school hot-rodder trick. I've heard a lot of people say it's what is inside Evapo-Rust too, which has always worked great for me.
Sometimes old-school hot rodder legends actually work.

Guess I've got something to add to my watch later list. I've been drifting away from the import scene more and more lately to dabble in the 40's style hot rod culture. That style of car has been growing on me lately.

He has a bunch of other projects going on - a Pontiac GTO, an LS engine install in a Mercedes wagon, some heavy equipment stuff, general repairs, etc. Quite a bit of content.
