If you do have to drill it sometimes burning it is safer.  Torch on the drill bit then let it melt it's way.  If you have to cut it a wood blade backwards does the trick.

Is it OK if I bring my 10 year old son? If so, I can be there tomorrow.

Crap, you're right. I accidentally ordered acrylic. NHRA doesn't specify the type of plastic. This stuff is 3/16" thick though and I'll have a full-face helmet on. I think it will be fine.

Worst case and it totally blows apart on you, HD or Lowes usually have sheets of 1/16" polycarb.

Make sure you gently massage out those little dings in the back fender.

I'll up the ante.  Use a claw-hammer.

This will be even more glorious if you keep only the front doors and take a chunk out of the middle:

Paul and his son stopped by to help tonight. Together we got pretty far! Paul seemed veryeager to do damage to this car. I think he got his fill, but only after smashing the rear window and taking the first plunge into the roof with a sawzall.

This is the first draft of the no-roof situation. Will probably go further than this tomorrow. Also not sure about having a decklid or not. First step in the morning is seat mounts, then roll bar fab. The rest of the plan will fall into place.

The suspension sits ALOT higher now, especially in the back. This is good news.

It looks like the fuel tank is under the rear seats so a bobtail is an option.

stock with tc off those will light up the tires really easily... Im guessing you are going to have traction issues with all the weight you are taking out of it.
