All together and running, but not running great. Seems real lazy on throttle pick-up. Ironic because it was running much better when it came apart and I have not touched the intake. I would say it has a vacuum leak, but middle plugs both show sooty black.
Issue resolved. It was the needle sticking in the seat. Vendor claims Viton. I suspect rubber tips on the needles.
dug out the used needles and all good.
The two hour drive to deliver the car was a pleasure. Even without a top, the cool weather and the Healey balanced out beautifully: I can see where these cars have a fan club.
Time to mentally shift gears and get back on the Molvo. Can't really remember where I left off with that project?
I know your pain. Ive buolt 3 whole cars since i left off the duster.
