As with most projects, life gets in the way. Between work, family, cancer trying to kill everyone I know, and being out of town, not much has happened on SanFord. Small, quick, projects is all I've had time for.
Small parts have been sandblasted, primed and painted...
The exhaust vent for the water heater got a new grill.
I figured out how to get the side windows out, dismantled, and ordered glass and rubber glazing seals for them.
I finally have all the new seals and glass for the rear windows, but no time to install them.
Other than that, lots of research, planning, and thinking.
I have decided to strip the entire body, all the way down to the steel, for paint. Doing all this work and putting a E36 M3 paint job on it would be stupid. Sandblasting is out, soda blasting and media blasting is expensive just for the materials, so we are going to try water blasting.
With that in mind I picked up this today.
It's like sandblasting, but uses a pressure washer and water rather than a air compressor and air. It should eliminate the warping and the dust. I'll let you know how well it works.

More to come, but I'm not sure when.
