Is anyone familiar with any OE-type external-mount oil pumps? The pump in my Chrysler 3.6 swap hangs low, and I'm fighting for inches. I'm considering fabbing up a new sump with the pickup running out the side of the pan, then into the pump, then a remote filter w/ADV, then back into the evil filter housing up top. Not much longer of a journey than stock. All the external wet sump pumps I've found are close to or over $1000, and I'd much rather not spend that. I've also considered sticking a backing plate on a front-mount, adding a snout to the front of the crank, and setting up a rigid support for that, but curious to see if anyone has any thoughts. Redline 7000, shift 6800, turn off the variable-pressure codes in HPTuners.
