I know not all of you follow the Hot Wheels thread or my YouTube, so you may have missed this. Matchbox recently released a Safari-style Porsche 911 rally car in their regular $1 line with a Rothman's-esque scheme on it that's a stunning mold, but they didn't detail any of the equipment in the basket, on the nose, or the tail.

So I took a few days and superdetailed it using model paints and brushes and show you how to do the whole thing start to finish! Check out the video here: How-to detail Matchbox cars.

It is. Which I thought was funny because it otherwise looks like it's supposed to be from the spec racing series.

I always hit up the toy car isle any time I’m out shopping. I have 300 plus hot wheels and matchbox’s. There are not many stores in my area that carry much in the matchbox line. I’m talking like less then 10 on the shelf while hot wheels has a 100 plus.
