Summer of 2022 my 74 Corolla SR5 saw very little of the road and even less the following year. This year that changes.

I've had this car since 2010, ended up driving it less and less in recent years. It has built 3tc, weber 45s, etc. After experiencing the 123 tune + distributor in my other TE27 which has more mild setup and a pair of weber 40s I have newfound motivation to see how well I can make this run.

Currently the front suspension and brakes are AE86 based, coilovers, adjustable tension rods, & camber plates. Being an SR5 model the rear end third member closely matches the AE86, both are 6.7" ring gears and the early AE86 LSD is a direct fit so this car has a 3.70 final drive with LSD.

Before it hits the road I need to rebuild the front end, new carbs and intake, and install the 123 tune +.

Welcome to the forum. Love the TE27s. Lot's of interesting old Japanese tin still available in your neck of the woods, colour me envious. Updates and pictures, please.

This is 1 out of 5 total TE27s. If you need a windshield for your 73 let me know, my dad and I had them remade to match the factory one exactly.

More TE27 content: jumped on the FJ40 headlamp bandwagon. This is my green TE27 which was parked in 1982 until I got it in 2018 and I'm confident the headlights have not been changed since my ownership.

No regerts on the headlight swap. That will be hugely better than the old sealed beams.

Has your IG account changed? I was going to ping you this morning, but your account was called "Instagram User" and there was no content at all. Very strange.

I used the relay harness on one car but not on another. You can use it either way.

Setting up the 123 distributor is much easier than I remember. I got the car fired up but there is a nasty intake leak. At first thought I considered the idle jets could be too small but at 2.5 turns out and the wideband being pegged lean and the car running inconsistent and poor it is time to take a closer look.
