Team Stampie gets MacNasty

Yeah i was mostly unprepared due to work schedule being messed up and having a birthday party today for Colin.  Abby and I were pulling MacNasty around the yard last night with the truck and she(mind you she’s 3 years old) said “Macnasty is kinda jacked up a little bit”

i was basically long distance long term storage. Team stampie is heading south with a truck, 4 extra wheels, a nitrous plate, a 350, an edelbrock carb, a cobra racing seat, and rear disc brake parts for a 14 bolt.  My garage is happier without the engine in my way and my yard is happier without the truck and a stack of wheels.

I think the Stampie Express had left town before I was even out of bed. 

This level of commitment rivals the 5am swap meets of The Nelsons.

It was 25 degrees when they got here and 32 when they left.  Indeed he was in sandals the whole time

Stopped to visit Carol's Grandma. Ate some Amish donuts and got to hear funny stories about Carol and her dad.  Being from the south I don't think I've heard someone use the term "you'ins".  I liked it but don't think you can double contact it like I do with y'all've. 

Heading to another part of GRM Ohio legend. Should be at Evan's in 30 minutes or so.

We can never rival them but we do have a SBC in the truck bed now so maybe I can pretend for the rest of the trip.

Rough Google ETA is 14 hours to you.  That doesn't include load time at the next stop or pee breaks.  Might take secret squirrel package to Jax as 3-5am unloading doesn't sound like fun. 

Got to meet Evan and Knurled. Loaded the package for Josh and on our way to a stop in Tennessee.  Man I wish I had a Saturday to spend at Evan's shop. That Volvo Ute looks even cooler in person.

Yep it's all gone except for a very short dark blue/purpleish mohawk.  Won a $1 bet from Chris on that one.  And no I wasn't stupid enough to pay $7 for the dye to win a $1 bet.

24 hours, 3 adults in a crew cab, 5 berk yous, 0 deaths. We're good to go.

Pics or it didn’t happen.  I know what the secret package is, I expect someone involved to text me a picture of the trailer so i can bask in the fact that nobody’s going to top me and my trailering insanity.

Josh's project dropped off in Gainesville. Heading to Jacksonville. 

Project now safely tucked away until it can be poked at during daylight hours. Thank you Stampie and crew. 

Home right as the sun was coming up. Thanks to:

Chris and Carol for putting up with my stupid ideas.

Pat for not only enjoying the same vehicles but enabling me. 

Grandma for the stories and donuts.

Evan and Pete for the quick load and way too quick introduction.

Josh for a reason to meet Evan and Pete and an extra adventure. 

Now to get some sleep. 

Damn it’s sexy without the cap.  I’m going to pretend I don’t miss it.
