It's all good, but I own 6 cars and I'm about to build a shop and pour a driveway! Need to thin the herd, recoup some funds, and free up some space (physical and head space).
Fair enough.
Good luck with it!

I guess I should ask... does anyone on GRM want dibs before I try to list it? Open to reasonable offers. Also open to selling as a roller for a discount too. PM me.
I.. . must not. The want is high but I just can't justify it . And lord have I justified some bad stuff.
Unless the price is low enough that Robbie would consider the drivetrain for field fiat...

The legend of the GRM Free Europa lasted a long time. Almost 20 years of being passed through various hands (including mine). We added to the story, but didn't improve the car.
You made the legend a reality. You completed the car, and finished the story well. Bravo for a great car, a great story, and a great guy!
Not sure what to say since I own a Europa ....at least you made it an awesome and running car!
Did it go to a GRM'er ?
So I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty skeptical when the buyer told me his plans for the Europa. But no less than 72 hours after it left, he was asking me how many bolts hold the body on. He's been at work preparing for a national rallycross championship campaign in MR class (modified rear drive). He previously won the national SCCA title in MA (modified AWD) with his LS swapped GMC Typhoon, and eventually wants to win all 9 classes. So he sought out a lightweight, powerful, RWD car that could dethrone the famous "Porscharu" 914. And he thinks the 2GR V6 Europa might be the ticket...
So far it's been to a couple local rallycrosses, and he's dialing it in. Can't wait to see how it does later this fall at nationals!
I wanted your car for rallycross too but it looked like a ton of work to get it to compliant enough for dirt. Hopefully he can do it. Leon is fast and the veterans in the class are only a little ways behind.

Apparently not needed for rallyX
That sounds... safe.

Very hard. I had to machine a custom caliper bracket just to run 15s. Stock was 16+.
The car was a rocket ship on course! At least in the straights, it was one of the fastest accelerating cars on course and sounded fantastic! Super fun to watch him run. He shot rooster tails everywhere. It looked like a handful in the corners, but that could just be his super aggressive driving style.. I believe he was top 3 in class until some sort of mechanical failure took him out on day 3. Car appeared to have a glass windshield but I didn't get a chance to look for any changes under the skin. Didn't see any added rollover protection.
