Y'all have heard me mention this car many times, here it is finally.

Specs: it is a 1974 Jensen Healey MkII, that cage was pro built by a race shop in North Carolina. The paint is Rustoleum Sunrise Red from rattlecans, the body is otherwise pretty much stock. I just got done with the paint, it still needs the taillights various emblems etc reinstalled. It has early Miata front uprights, custom made upper control arms, QA1 adjustable coilovers with 800 inch pound front/250 inch pound rear springs, an RX2 rear axle with a 4:30 ring & pinion from a Miata wrapped around a first gen RX7 clutch type limited slip, first gen RX7 rear calipers and rotors, early Miata front calipers and rotors, a 1991 RX7 13B turbo motor with stock engine management and stock turbo, there's a front mount intercooler though. The trans is a NA RX7 unit, plans are to replace it with a turbo box at some point. The wheels are XXR 513's in 15x8.

I built it loosely to SCCA E Mod AX specs, it is legal for that class but it's used more as an open track/TT/hillclimb car. I'd have to knock another 200 pounds off the car and find another 50 HP to even think about going to Nationals with it and at that I'd get my butt whooped.

You do know three pictures aren't going to cut it, don't you.

The paint and body work sure turned out great.

Don't get too close to the paint. It's a 50/50: looks good 50 feet away at 50 mph. I do have a few more pics from before the paint job. Here's the turbo engine completed install:

Instrument panel:

Trunk (boot?) and fuel tank:

Fuel pump and rear axle, showing Panhard rod mounting:

As it was when I first dragged it home:

The first NA rotary in the process of being installed:

And a gratuitous pic of yours truly showing his ass:

No, I didn't crash. That's my Yamaha WR400F way back when.

Cool, I haven't seen it since you did the turbo install. Nicely done.
