The diff lock in the B3 is weird.  They didn't have a locking center diff like the B2s (B3 had an 01A with a Torsen center) so they only had a locking rear diff.  It's controlled at least in part with electricity because the system will automatically unlock over 25mph.

I spent a little time inside the trunk today:

I do not recommend it for comfort, felt cramped and uneven. I was trying to see what the issue was with it not latching. I removed the trim and made sure the release works. I also disconnected the pneumatic lock actuator just to be safe. Turns out the latch pin plate was bent down. It came out for a straightening and then back in.

Latch works now.

Anobody know if the light segment with the key cylinder in it will interchange with the 97?
That car has pneumatic locks and the steering wheel, controls, grab handles etc. all look very similar. This is mine:

and the Junkyard one:

Maybe the same piece?

No, the B3 is a different setup than the B3.  B3 stopped in 1991.  You can get a rear light from any b3 90 though.  I'll look, as I may have one haha.  If I don't, my buddy probably does.

Today I took off the charger and... It starts! Did a short neighborhood drive with LuckyLady and she is very excited about this car. Wipers work, cruise control does not. Our youngest is getting ready to move to France and has been learning to drive stick so she may take a spin soon too. I also was invited to a paved/dirt road rally at the end of the month so..?
