Hoping you'll grace us with a video of it running around, just to hear the thing in action.
I still need to get the new GoPro mount 3d printed and then I'll get some video driving it around. It was so hot I didn't do much to the car through the summer. Once it began to cool off in August I did some additional tuning work to it and have driven it around outside town a couple times. There has been talk of getting back out to that cruise in with at least one other car from work but that hasn't happened.
I need to do better, don't even have any good new pictures

Every new picture is a good picture - that thing looks awesome.
Yeah, this thing is way cooler than anything I've built. Thanks for taking us along!!

Cruise in last night, ended up with decent looking company. The Dino and Jag both got there after I did, maybe I'm the only one but I get a feeling of pride and accomplishment when I go to something like that and cars that I think are some of the coolest there park next/near to me. Maybe that's just me being weird though. I did talk to more people last night than the other two car show outings with the car combined I believe even though I was only there for about an hour and fifteen minutes.
Was going to go out again today to another show this morning but rain put a damper on those plans.

Finally have a way to strap the car into the trailer after a year. Planning to take the car to a little show and hang out over in west Tennessee tomorrow.

I've been looking at that style of wheel tie downs as I have a BUNCH of salvaged Etrack. How is the Etrack attached to your floor?
I have similar for my F500, I have bolts with big fender washers on the back side of the floor plywood. That said, my car weighs 650lbs without driver.

Bolted through the plywood, I cut 16 dogbone washers out of 3/16 on the plasma table to clamp to the back side. Each section of E Track has 8 bolts.

Made it to the he show, on the way home now. Was a good time and maybe drummed up some work for the shop. And the Belair won a best in show trophy.

Well I tried. I went for a drive today and remembered to take the GoPro with me, unfortunately I left the external mic at the house so the audio is almost entirely garbage. To top that off I didn't check the camera angle at any point until I was back home so most of the screen is just the back of my helmet.
So the video is all a bust, I did take a couple decent pictures though, so that's all I have to share.
Edit:
So here is a mash up I uploaded of the parts that aren't completely useless.

Turns out driving around in an open wheel car with a supercharged unmuffled inline six is frowned upon, and not just on the public roads. So now I have a muffler.

And then it started raining. There was a minimal chance of rain when I left the house but obviously that didn't work out. Ended up driving home in the rain too which was an adventure. The muffler quiets the car down even more than I was expecting and I don't really care for that, it's a lot less raw feeling now. I did check before and after with a dB Meter app on my phone with the car idling in the driveway and it dropped from about 70dB to about 62dB.
In reply to NashGTI :
That angle belies the size and scope, almost looks like a kid is going to coast it down a hill in Akron.
Way cool!!
The racecar is back home again after spending the night at the shop last night after the cruise in. Once again I was neither killed nor arrested so it automatically counts as a successful trip.
Once more the car was pretty much surrounded last night from the moment I shut the engine off. The parking lot was packed so I didn't get much of a choice of places to park and thus don't have any pictures as cool as the one with the Jag and Ferrari I got last fall. A gentleman was right beside the car and handing me a flier for an upcoming show as soon as I took my helmet off with the admonishment that I "needed to have this car in Springfield May tenth." Right after him a group of apparent teenagers came over to excitedly tell me they saw me out the previous night when I had taken the car to get some gas and let me know how cool they thought it was. So even with it being seen there several times at this point the car still draws a crowd.
On counterpoint to that though was today where I took the car to lunch after picking it up from the shop. My wife and I stayed late enough to just do the short trip and leave it at the shop rather than run with the headlights attached and go all the way home. Parking the car at the restaurant though a gentleman just drove up beside me and rolled his window down and said that I needed to take the car to the Hendersonville Cruise in. Letting him know that I was there last night he answered that he DJed the cruise in and didn't remember the car.
So maybe it's not THAT unforgettable? In other news it needs a bath pretty bad now. I hadn't looked since driving home in the rain the other day and it's pretty bad.

And freshly cleaned, ish. I really need to quit being lazy and do actual white paint instead of just primer. The primer is just stained in several places at this point and won't clean. Maybe that will happen some day. I did actually ask a friend who does car interior work if I could give him some money to finish my seat cover, he said as long as I could wait until fall that'd be fine he's just too busy at this time. Obviously I told him that'd be fine because I'm obviously neither in a hurry or going to do it myself at this point.

What are your plans for the exhaust?
Different muffler, bypass, other?

At this point I'll leave it. The muffler looks OK and isn't a bad sound really, and driving around this weekend I found myself much more at ease because it wasn't as loud around the constant police pressence in the area. My focus on things now is just going to stick with the remaining major things i.e. body/paint, seat cover, limited slip, supercharger rebuild.
I love it when this monstrosity pops back up to page 1!!!
