Almost finished after 2 long years
finally plates and ready to drive

The license plate sort implies that not base but has the RS option which probably didn't require a V8.
It's a 383 stroker with a 4speed Muncie
doing a shakedown on Angeles crest
singer p car boys up here today .
wife picked the color
I'm not a Camaro guy at all, but it's a nice looking car. The badging makes it a nice sleeper. I love sleepers. I dig the color because it's not the typical obnoxiously bright color that hot rodders tend to pick for their cars. I appreciate a more subdued, mature hue.

Thank you. I am not a Camaro guy either. Wifes build really. Shes the mature one. I prefer a purple roadrunner or lime green hemi
I want to sell and buy a 18-20 foot caddy. But wife likes this more
after the shakedown - see if anything wrong - then she can drive it
the willwood brakes are getting a nice workout
Cars too loud. Embarrassingly so. Clutch is way too much of a workout
Wow that is beautiful. You really went with a subtle approach. I sold a restomod 69 vert not that long ago. Loved it.
You're out and about in that weather and the top isn't down?
Beautiful car, btw. Is that a factory color choice or was it pulled from another car?
Major Scoreboard on this!!!!!! .......your wife has great taste in colors, will you be providing more details?
That's a great looking 1st gen F body. And I too really like the color. The black conv top and rims really set that color off. Nice work all-the-way around.

Sorry never drive with top down, or windows open. Yes I am weird. We have same weather 350 days of the year, pretty boring actually.
Color is GM Olympic Gold

Everybody has their foibles. No skin off my nose. I'm the opposite, I think I've had the top up on my car maybe 15 times in the last 20 years!
It's a beautiful color.
In reply to iansane :
17 convertibles since 1993 (miata, s2000, t tops etc), never have driven with top down. Not my thing
Very subtle. So nice to see a 69 Camaro without red paint, white stripes, and a rear spoiler. I like it a lot. One of the English teachers at my HS had a black on black 68 convertible i6/3MT with no power options.
