Heres the yearly update on my beloved Vagn for the 9 of you who care (bless your hearts)
So after getting it on the road earlier this year i realized that the autotragic trans wasnt working worth a damn.even if it did itd still be crap behind this engine.so i swapped out the auto for a tremec 5 speed...also the whole wiring harness and ecm from a 96 cobra
Then it worked amaaaazingly well...except the blower wasnt really blowing.at 6500 rpm i got aboot 2 psi...blower pulley was too big.so i yanked it all for now and put on a stock mark 8 lsc intake and some 30lb injectors and its just incredibly nice to drive
Also added hydroboost brakes off the cobra so now it stops as well

Thanks for the update. I noticed the wagon ( in the background of the V8 MGB video) and was wondering how it was doing.
I really like the valve covers and Logo on them. Do you plan to reinstall the supercharger or is it fast enough normally aspirated?

You should be aware that Petey would put a Blower or a Turbo in his Tim Hortons coffee cup if left to his own devices. Can't seem to help himself. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
The other interesting factoid to know about the 740 is that it would most likely fly in under challenge budget if he could be bothered to play the budget game.

I just need to find the smallest pulley possible for the blower itself.ordered 2 from different sources and neither went anywhere....its definitely going back on as the whole shebang actually worked beautifully.the intercooler system and all the sealing surfaces were 100% as in no vacuum leaks
Its getting an 8.8 swap in the spring so itll have a trac lok diff and i wont have to worry aboot trashing the little dana and then if i get a pulley it all goes back in.the sound and the torque improvement is worth it

Didnt take any but its jusy a wilwood 3/4" pull style on a bracket on the bellhousing.relocated the hole on the stock fork maybe 5/8 inboard for spme more chooch and it works great

Had to jaz up the stock LSC intake.things pulls clean and hard right to 7200 then bounces off the limiter
