I did notice that, but apparently the 3.5 in the Altima already has the HR heads, it just needs to be tuned as such.

boat anchor = heavy.
20" wheels are heavier than 17" wheels, in the wrong place (outside diameter = more rotational mass). This is simple physics. If you can go fast with 20x9s that weigh 30lbs, you can go faster with 17x9s that weigh 20lbs. This is pretty basic stuff.
I really can't help but feeling this is a trolling post, at this point, so I'm out....
I don’t think you’re wrong, and this is the second thread pulling the same vibe in the last ~two weeks.

So doesn't the 350Z lol but they're heavier and don't have transaxles that can exit corners quicker.
C'mon, backwards Porsches anyone?
I know I shouldn’t feed the troll, but...
Except a “backwards Porsche” would be a FWD car with rear wheel steering. Not an overpowered Altima coupe with 20” wheels on rubber band tires.
I, for one, can't wait to see your theories in action. Surely you have something figured out that generations of performance engineers have overlooked for all this time.
Do you have a YouTube channel yet?
I'd be amazed if an Altima with a HR swap and 20x9/255 combo could be competitive in even the slowest Autocross class.

Rubber band tires? They're the same sidewall as a 235/35 used by some of the fastest cars. Let's just make things up as we go along lol.

Have you not seen the the GTi Clubsport S does a 7:49.21 on the Nurburgring with rubber band tires and over 3000 lbs. Coincidentally it also makes 306hp. So yeah, I'd expect an AC that lost 150 lbs and set up the same would be just as fast, which is faster than a 996 GT3 at 7:54. Hell, I may even start club racing with these cars, 7500 rpm shifts and no intercoolers needed. Glorious.
