So somehow I have agreed to buy the rusty WRX that Nocones had for sale. The agreed price was $950 and his dumb butt offered to start working on pulling the engine to repair the exhaust valve. I am going to PRI with him and some of the other BDT members. The plan is to finish the fix up and then put it on the empty trailer I have from delivering the now sold Jaguar XJR.
The long term plan, for now, is to use the engine, trans, and front subframe in the back of my Starlet as I releazied that the front v8 combo I was working on would be way too Street Freak for a track rat. My initial plan was something like the free Lotus with a Toyota 3.5l and auto but here is this WRX that is challenge friendly and nearby.
If anyone needs random parts off a 2002 WRX, I will be selling everything that doesn't stop me from driving it.
