I bet that hood dent would pop right out.

One bid so far.  This thing would make an awesome LeMons or Challenge project.  Interestingly, it's full frame, unlike a normal 444.  So one could probably swap a modern truck chassis under it and have a neat rat-rod or off roader.

102.4" wheelbase, according to wikipedia.

My parents had a '62. At 13, I'd drive it around our suburban town while my dad was at work. It was a total oddball car on the road back in the '80s, but no one looked twice. I was a dumb kid. By the time he sold it, the rust was impressive.

Glad to see there's a bidder - that car is going to put/keep another one back on the road. The two-tone paint, wood everywhere, and two doors are super cool, says someone not biased, at all...

52" track width would make that difficult, unless you happened to have a CJ6 or Scrambler you didn't know what to do with.

This thing is CRYING out for RX8 subframes and giant box flares.

I cannot help you.  You are on your own.  Remember the Bad Decision Triangle moto.  Buy now, the deals are only available temporarily but the ability to justify later is permanent.

That's what fender flares are for.  IIRC, a Geo Tracker is pretty narrow, and also full frame.

That looks like a decade long project to me!

Love the honesty in the ad. VCH, you need this in your fleet.

The floors look to me like they've been patched with fiberglass.  No telling what's underneath that mess.  Yugh.

I can smell that from here. The Volvo tar paper smell never goes away. Mine looked almost that bad when I bought it in 1976, and I ran it until the early 1990s.

In reply to TurnerX19 :

A friend of mine once told me that old Volvos and Russian Volgas have a similar smell.  Maybe they used the same tar paper.

This one probably smells like that, and hantavirus.
