Same here. Even in that color. The wire wheels are great.

I owned one for 40 years.  They are not bad classics to own and operate on a Grassroots budget. But buy a good one and enjoy the zero-depreciation feature; do not restore one.

The featured specimen worries me because of the rust. Also less than a fan of the non-original interior.

Heck. On that, I think the color is great!

+1 as not a fan of the interior. I'm also suspicious that this is a '67 model due to the side markers. I don't recall them being on a '67, but had them on my '68.

I believe those did start in 68. Not sure if it was a US mandate. My 68 912 had side markers. 1 year only deal.as in 69 Porsche incorporated them into the standard lighting

Some fuel for the proverbial fire: car in question has a generator. 68s had alternators.

Sidedraft Weber is sweet though. Wish mine had it instead of the downdraft

Weird on the side markers, but everything else, including the dash, trans tunnel and generator are correct for a 67.  I think side marker lights only came on US models in 70 - the 69 had reflectors but not side marker lights.

Neat car, if the rust is not too bad could be worth saving as 67's are highly sought out - I know since I have had a 68 GT for almost 30 years.   (PS my 68 does not have side markers).

The whole side marker reflector/light was mandated for the 1968 model year in US and Canada (it's one of those times where Canadian law is changed to have a system that eases the burden on business). Back in the day it made it easier to put a year on cars the more tacky after market it looked the more likely it was a 68 or 69.
