The 97 would be a bit easier to swap, the 99 I have is DBW. Now to figure out what to put the 3800 S2 in.

I bought mine a lot of years ago; think it's actually a 96. Never did the project I had in mind; no clue what it might end up in! Guy I bought it from drove the junk car onto the trailer, and pulled the engine/trans before going to scrap. They did a very good job unplugging all the harness to go with the engine, instead of cutting it all loose like most. Unfortunately, they also unplugged from the computers, and left them with the car! Ouch.
Yeah I was too slow. Heck of a deal though! Hope we see a build on here.

It was close to asking price. 
I think your friend got a great deal... I was gonna see if we could work a deal with assurances I would bring it to the Challenge... only 'cause my financial ability is low!
I might get enough for a toy from SHMBO'd this summer or so.
