1979 GMC C3500 standard cab long bed Dually with a 92 454 TBI and SM465 manual transmission. Truck has a GVWR of 10,000 lbs and can tow 12,000 lbs on the receiver hitch and 14,000 lbs 5th wheel/gooseneck trailers. No gooseneck or 5th wheel hitch on it though. It comes with Prodigy brake controller and has 7-pin trailer connector.
Interior: Saddle (light brown or tan) interior. Bench seat. Tinted windows. It has power steering, hydroboost brakes, and cold A/C. Pioneer CD radio with two speakers. New carpet with additional insulation for better sound and heat control.
Engine: 1992 7.4L (454) TBI engine which was rebuilt with new goodies (new rings, bearings, gaskets, rebuilt rods with ARP bolts, and ARP head bolts). Heads have been converted to adjustable valvetrain and have aluminum roller rockers. It has tall chrome valve covers to clear the rockers. It has a Comp Cams TBI camshaft, Edelbrock TBI intake manifold, modified throttle body (contoured body, injector pod spacer), 1-3/4" Hooker Comp headers, 2.5" exhaust with new mufflers. It has the serpentine belt drive from the 92 and has new power steering pump, water pump and A/C compressor. New cooling fan and fan clutch. Good 4-core radiator keeps her cool.
Fuel injection: GM TBI setup, using the 7060 computer from the 92 Suburban. I have a Zip socket on it so chip is easy to remove for programming changes. The wiring is also present for a 4L80E transmission if you want to switch it to an automatice overdrive. Truck has dual 20 gal side saddle fuel tanks. RH tank has the EFI fuel pump, LH tank has an external pump which transfers the fuel to the RH tank.
Driveline/suspension: New Gen V flywheel, new clutch set, SM465 transmission in good shape. 2-piece driveshaft has new rear driveshaft and new u-joints. Rear axle is a Dana 70 HD with 3.73 gears. Front and rear sway bars.
