I remember when they first came out. It is not a truck. Subaru was trying to get around the high tariffs on trucks at the time.
My first car was a 1982 BRAT.
I've been chasing that ever since.

I had a 82 GL 4WD wagon. Man, I loved that little car. A clean example is definitely on my win-the-lottery-purchase list.
If that's not dead rusty underneath it's money in the bank. I'd love to have it.
