Thinning the herd. Bought this non-running last year. Guy had thrown battery, plugs, wires & a coil at it. Found a bad module in the distributor. EBAY to the rescue.
It starts easy but is super cold natured. Needs minutes to warm up. Carb is definitely in need of rebuild (kit included). Radio works, AC does not. Passed Missouri safety inspection earlier this year (after minor brake & steering repairs).
109000 miles. Cosmetic cancer in rear wheel arches. Floor boards & frame very solid. Suspension similar to 79-83 RX7. Bolt pattern too. Clean Missouri title.
Asking $1450 for this survivor gem.

I learned to drive stick on one of these. I have a very soft spot for them.
I don't need another project, but that is begging for a 13B swap.

If you opted for the Luxury package in 1981, you got a tach, even with the automatic.
That package also got you power windows, locks and mirrors, corduroy seats, power sunroof (steel), and badges on the front fenders.

In 1980 I considered a new 2-door manual transmission 626. For the era they looked so cool - sometimes compared to a BMW.
the ad says the 626 is "very quick" at 0-50mph in 9.8 seconds.......wow!
