1988 Toyota Mr2 20v blacktop lsd swap
Not mine. I test drove this yesterday. Body is a little rough but fixable. It looked to be a pretty well-executed swap. Power steering would make it easier to maneuver. Clutch disengagement is right at the floor, which made me wonder if it would benefit from a larger bore clutch master. Hard durometer poly bushings in the engine mounts make it pretty buzzy.
The 20V 4A-GE black top engine & trans are from an AE111 - 95 Corolla. 8200 RPM redline. It just screams. If I had space, I'd buy and make it into a race car. Or keep it plated and drive everywhere at 7500 rpm!
