Ok, it's finally time to let it go. I really love the car, but really don't love autocrossing it(I'm broken, but it's AWD for me only).
Here’s the link to the full build thread. I have a cold-start vid from 2-weeks ago below. Here's what I can remember off the top of my head, but the build thread will have all the details:
The suspension setup is 800lb front/650lb rear springs, on coilover sleeves, with Koni Race shocks. Bauer lower ball joints, R-package tie rod ends, ISC upper shock mounts, Racing Beat 1.125” front bar with mounting blocks, and no rear bar. It’s currently aligned at -4.1* front, -3.2* rear with 1/8” total toe-out front & zero toe rear. Despite the spring rates it actually rides much better than stock since it never hits the bump stops.
I resealed the oil pan & installed a new rear main seal, installed a new timing kit, all hoses, belts & radiator were replaced, new coil pack, plugs/wires, CAS o-ring, fuel pump & filter, and replaced the MAF(though it turned out the original one wasn’t bad & I still have it). I replaced both of the shifter boots/seals on the trans, and the rear trans seal. The front seal & clutch only had ~10k on them & I have paperwork for their replacement by the PO. I also drained & refilled both the trans & diff(vlsd) with the proper Redline fluid for each. It has a stainless 4-2-1 header into a Magnaflow cat & the stock cat-back. I also replaced all-4 calipers/rotors/hoses & installed new pads.
I picked the best interior parts from the parts car, so the seats, door panels, center console, tombstone & steering wheel are pretty nice. I replaced one of the (manual) window regulators. The gauge surround is broken at the bottom & is epoxied at the top, but doesn’t move/rattle. The dash has a couple small cracks, but isn’t too bad. There is no radio or speakers, but I left all factory wiring in place. It does have power steering.
The windshield is new & the battery is less than 2-years old. I have a quick disconnect for it.
The top is older, but doesn’t have any holes, the plastic rear window is hazy & scratched, but doesn’t have any cracks.
The wheels are 15”x7.5”(I think, might be 7”) & I put on whatever the hot 200tw tires were last year. They have 4 events on them.
I have a box of paperwork I got with the car. It was owned by a teacher in Louisiana, but at some point seemed to likely have ended up at a budget or maybe buy here/pay here lot, where I think it got a cheap respray. There’s some paint chipping off around the RF corner, where it looks like something contacted the fender/bumper junction. It’s more than a “ding”, but not really a “dent” either.
I have tons of parts that go with it: passenger door, hood, seats, headlight assemblies, original wheels, swaybars, spring/shock assemblies, a couple exhausts, a few driveshafts, like 8 or 10 wheel center covers, a couple center consoles, spare hood transmission, spare engine with a hole in the block, 2 or 3 boxes of small parts.
Mechanically it’s 100% solid. The interior I’d say is about 85%. The exterior realistically is probably closer to 75%. It’s definitely neither a show-winner, nor totally beat up.
I’ll take $5k for everything.
