I am selling my NA Miata that we picked up 7 years ago. Was the kids car, went to ECU for a semester, been here as my daily for the last few years. Always reliable, maintenance done, runs fine, and has a hard top. Big negative is it is an automatic, but I do have a 5 speed, clutch and brake pedal assembly to swap out for it. 6K on FB, 5K for the GRM group, hardtop is worth 2k alone, so this is a rust free NA for 3K. Lots of dings, minor dents and scrapes but perfect rockers, fenders and clean. Has not been messed with, so the perfect canvas to build into what you want.

Hawt!
I'm not the one, but somebody should snap that up immediately. GLWS
What is involved with the 5 speed swap? Any issues with the computers?
In reply to porschenut :
I don't think there is - it's supposed to be a straight swap as long as you have all the parts. IIRC the autos have lower compression so they might need some boost to wake up, which is obviously a horrible idea . I think these are old enough so the ECU doesn't know or care about the transmission.
It's tempting, but I'd have to probably farm out the heavy lifting due to my current janky shoulder. Let me noodle on this a bit.
Looks like the swap is well documented many places, here is a good idea of what is needed.

The good news is I most of the parts and the rest are easy to find. After reading this, I should have done this a few years ago!

If this were on the West coast, I'd be all over it, that's a solid deal. Not that I need another Miata, LOL. I've done the auto -> manual swap in my NB, and it's not a big deal.
Good luck with the sale!
Yeah, I think it is very fair. I have two people coming today, so might be sold.
Sold, thanks everyone for the interest
