He's been rolled over, on fire, been through a few motors, and apparently a pizza delivery vehicle? There is not a single straight panel on this vehicle but he still keeps on kickin'.
When I say that a good chunk of a car's value is its story, this is what I mean.
That anecdote makes the car way more interesting IMO.
Oddly, I have a fender from an NX2000 that rolled hanging in my garage.
Good thing flipper wasn't a T-Top car like many of them were. I had one years ago and they're hard to find now. I'm watching for one that is a little more street friendly and a little less track rat to have fun in again someday.
Yes, so many T-top cars out there–well, back when they were new. Been a minute since I have seen an NX2000/NX1600 in the flesh.
I remember loving these back in the 90s. Almost bought one, but ended up with a Civic instead. I have to wonder though, what makes them tippy? Is there something about the suspension geometry or is it more of a matter of sticky tires plus the nut behind the wheel?
bump I'm trying to get rid of this thing
Remind me, does it run and drive? What does it need to be track ready? I now live in Florida but my adult son lives in Paulding County GA and can grab it for me if needed.
Runs and drives great, brakes need bleeding/fluid flush after I cooked em last track day, needs a battery and I'd clean the gas tank out or buy a new one ($130 on rockauto)
