SOLD, SOLD, SOLD I was worried it was going to take a while to sell it. One call later, a test drive and it is sold. New owner is just a few miles away from me. Dakota is going to a good home.

Image links removed since sold.

It's mine, currently my daily driver. 1992 Dakota LE ext cab, 6.5' short bed. 144K miles. Red and silver with gray interior. 5.2L Magnum V8, 230 hp, A518 transmission and 8.25" rear axle with 3.55 gears. Dual outlet rear exit exhaust, A/C, power steering, brakes, windows and locks. Tilt steering, cruise control and Pioneer CD radio. Class IV receiver hitch. 7K lb tow rating. Located in Loganville, GA, east of Atlanta.

My Dad bought this truck new in 92 and I bought it from him last year. Still the original paint and interior, never in an accident. He bought a 2013 Ram so I got the Dakota from him. Now I need to reduce the fleet. Asking $3900, prefer to sell outright. You can email me at rjpajer (at) mindspring dot com.

Truck is very well maintained and ready to go. Here is some of the stuff I have replaced: Water pump, fan clutch, timing set (timing cover was leaking coolant so I changed the timing set while in there), intake and plenum gaskets, heater and radiator hoses, thermostat and rear brakes (shoes and wheel cylinders).

Other parts replaced by my Dad: Front brakes, master cylinder, radiator and tires. Probably some more stuff I am forgetting about.

Wow, that looks clean. We had that exact truck for a parts runner at the dealership when I was a tech. Man, that thing was TERRIBLE in the snow haha. That could have been the fact that the only traction aiding device the truck had were the metal belts coming out of the rear tires.
BTW, I loved that truck. I think this truck is perfect for 90% of the population. V-8 for ease of towing, big enough to haul what you need to in the bed but not too big, and can tow more than most folks ever do.

Thanks. I do like the truck, it is fun to drive. Size is about right, not too big or small, does well in traffic. I am open to offers on the Dakota.

Down the road I will find a good mpg daily ride, something in the mid 30s mpg or higher. For the short term I will be driving the Suburban and the MGB, till I square some things away.

Price drop to $3900. Getting a little bit of activity from CL, thought I had it sold Saturday, but nope, no deal.

Man I wish I had the money. My best friend Greg had a green and silver(maybe gold) V6 verison of this truck. I was jelaous of it as I could only afford the regular cab 89 at the time. Years later I bought another, but this time a 96 2wd reg cab Sport in Moss green. I loved that truck more than I should have, and miss it. I still remember everything about that truck down to the simple yet cool cup holder that slides out of the dash. My 1st three trucks (88 Ram 2wd reg cab,89 Dakota reg cab,96 reg cab) all had the 3.9 litre, but I wanted a V8.This would be a great first truck for my son, but I don't have the cash. Good luck with the sale.

That's awesome! I bought mine in 1998 for about 4500 with 60,000 miles, pretty good value underrated trucks.
