BattleVette is for sale (play on the color, Battleship Gray) Are you looking to do track days, but don't want to worry about messing up your daily driver? Want to drive something with more HP then your Civic? This is the car for you. This is a strong running RWD manual transmission car that has been built for track/autorcross/fun driving.

On the dyno it pulled 290.1 RWHP/330 RWT, which is 341hp/388 torque at the flywheel, with a very flat curve. The car runs PFC01 front pads and ST43 rear pads for the track, great stopping power, but a bit squeaky for daily street use. Good conditions stock pads available also. Has DRM brake bias spring installed to improve stopping distances. Stock tires on polished sawblades in 275/45/R17 all around, 2x 80% tread 2x 50% tread, these are hard rubber so probably have 20-30k miles left in them. Track tires are Toyo R888s in 275/45/R17 fronts and 305/45/R18s in the rear. These are very sticky tires, not a lot of tread left, but 3-4 track day sessions at least. Once tires are worn out, the wheels have C5 wheel sensors that can be re-sold for $50 each. Wheels are light weight factory magnesium, these were an expensive option. Car was re-painted earlier this year, looks great, unique Battleship gray non-metallic color, gets lots of compliments. The orange graphics are vinyl and can be easily removed, or added to. Suspension- newer Z51 Bilstein's, new complete Polyurethane kit (needs to be installed, planned winter project). New wheel bearing, rest of wheel bearings are tight.

The bad: Driver seat has wear holes duct taped over, planned to go to a race seat. Rear main leak, looses about ½ quart of oil per year with how I use the car (track days/occasional fun drives around, etc) CD player needs hooked up to speakers (I listen to the V8 Rumble) Typical C4 Corvette squeaks and creaks, Poly kit should solve a lot of this. Not a pristine daily driver, this is a rougher track car that you don't mind using for its intended purpose, to be driven FAST! Needs heater core, currently by-passed as I only drive it in summer time so it doesn't bother me.

This has been a fantastically reliable car never failing to bring me home, I have done 4 track days at PIR 1 up at the Ridge Raceway (drove up did track day, drove it back), several Auto-Xs, and gone on spirited drives with friends. I run advance group and I rarely get passed, this is a great car to learn and grow with. Clean title, 180k miles. Passes emissions easy, AC blows cold
