It does tick all the right boxes.  Fun semi-daily, turbo, working AC, hardtop if I wanted, great handling.  I'm losing hope on a decent turbo MR2 under 20-30K.

The only reason I haven't sent you a deposit probably is the cheap NA I bought last summer.  I wanted "a Miata" and have one.  But this is obviously a different beast.

Well, I've been getting the sense that it's not in a price point that interests folks, so there hasn't been much reason to push. 

I figured if I wanted to get serious, I'd have to list it somewhere other than GRM

I will be assessing whether the motor survived, then putting it up for sale.  It still has all the good parts on it.

Glad you are okay, sounds like it could have been much worse. Wet road, deer run out,  what happened? Does not look like a road you can go too fast on, sorry this happened to you. My MSM was a handful on street tires, kind of glad it would not pass MD emissions as it was really too fast for public roads.

No, I wish I could blame a deer.  

I was doing 40 in a 30 zone.  Not that fast, but too fast for the conditions.  It was dusk, and I was in a powerful car I had not driven for a while.  I failed to take a little time to acclimate myself to it again.

Rural road.  It had a weird sharp S-turn in it through a gully, some unevenness, and some gravel on the road.  The middle of the S was in the bottom of the gully.  I negotiated the turn fine and was pulling up the other side and the car hit the bump stops just as I was turning and pulling up the other side.  All hell broke loose.  There was a deep ditch (about 5') on the side of the road, and the embankment ramped me up the other side into a tree.  I tagged the tree with my front left corner, and the momentum spun the car 180*.  My rear corner hit the bank again, which continued the spin.  I ended in the road heading the same way I had started.

I'm 60.  The reality is my reaction time is simply not what it used to be.  Perfect storm of several little things I did wrong quickly escalated into something very big.

The pain in my body and in my wallet are not as big as the pain in my pride.

I'm really sorry to hear about the crash, but am glad you seem to be hanging in there physically so far.  Hopefully things continue to improve in that regard and your engine is undamaged.

Hope you heal up fast.

Hope the physical injuries are all minor & you heal up quickly.
