He replied, thinks he has the car sold, will know this morning.
Owned it for about 5 years, lost an idler resulting in an overheat, hence the ported heads. His local jag mechanic has closed shop so he isn't comfortable having it repaired by an unknown shop. Clean title...that part surprised me, said he and the ins company never could agree.

If I had seen it earlier, this probably would have gotten me in a lot less trouble than the Dart I recently dragged home for similar money.
Seller messaged me back again to confirm that it is sold, which was considerate of him. Told him that I am both disapointed and relieved.
