Yes, another RX-8 with a dead engine. 6-speed. It's a Florida car, so no rust, though the top paint is fried and it has some dings. It is the Grand Touring, and the leather seats and the rest of the interior are in good shape, aside from the usual cracked dash. I would love to see it in the Challenge, or a fun swap project for GRM Magazine!. It has 147k on the body, but the current engine was replaced under warranty (for all the good that did). I would only ask dibs to buy it back, priced accordingly, if fixed or upgraded, and resold, since it was my son's first car and he is still sentimental about it.

Can you expand on the definition of 'dead engine'? Doesn't start hot? Doesn't start ever? Starts fine but smokes a lot?
Dead as in doesn't start at all. It stopped about six years ago. I replaced the battery, tried a few of the rotary "tricks", but hasn't run since. It had been getting harder to cold start for a month, or so, prior. My son was keeping it to restore, but ended up buying another, in better shape, last year, so this one can now go. He would really love to see it running again, so I am authorized to make a good deal if someone wants to put it in the Challenge or GRM would like a new project car.
