Edit #2: I think it's sold. Don't have the cash yet, the van is still in my driveway, so let me know if you're interested.
Mrs. Floating doc has moved into her new Mazda 5, and the Sienna is ready to sell. 177,613 miles. GRM, save me from having to list this on Craigslist, or even worse, having to join Facebook so I can list it on marketplace.
$2,000 OBO EDIT: $1900, located in DeLand, Florida, about 20 miles inland from Daytona Beach. If you PM me, let me know in this thread, so I can watch for your email.
In February 2015, we bought the van sight unseen from a friend in the Florida panhandle. He owns a shop just off I-10. I've known him for about 20 years. He bought the car and repaired it after it died on a road trip with the previous owner. It was previously registered in Louisiana.
It came with a freshly installed Jasper reman transmission, timing belt and water pump, knock sensor, brakes, new windshield, belts and hoses. There was more, but I've misplaced that particular invoice. I think that he replaced the shocks and radiator also.
It had 138,762 miles when we registered it the next week.
I have invoices for the following:
5/1/16, 140,919 miles. replaced front lower control arm bushings on both sides, drivers side bearing and hub.
9/5/16, mileage wasn't noted. Four General Altimax RT-43 tires.
1/2/17, 162,094 miles. Six spark plugs, boots, intake gasket, air filter, transmission service and filter, and vacuum lines.
10/29/17 new battery
12/14/17, 170,482 miles. brakes: turned front rotors (I think they were new when we bought the van), replaced rear drums, plus shoes and pads.
I've done the oil changes myself, so I don't have invoices for those. It's always had synthetic oil, I usually use Mobil One. It doesn't burn oil.
I replaced the wipers not long ago, but I've misplaced that ticket. The lift struts on the hatch are working fine. I replaced them when we bought it.
There's some minor body damage on the right rear at the wheel well, and on the right sliding door (see the photos).
The paints not bad for the age of the car, although there are a lot of small stone chips on the hood. I tried to photograph them, but they are too small to show up. There's no clear coat peeling.
One of the two power outlets in the dash doesn't work. The air conditioning and heat work fine, the car track straight and rides fine. It's missing the radio antenna, but the CD player works.
It has rear air, and manual sliding doors. I consider that a feature, since as some vans age, the electric doors can become unreliable.
The seats have gotten difficult to flip, the releases are balky.
The window tint in the hatch window is bubbling.
I took the photos with my camera instead of the phone and not all of them transferred. I'll add some more below.
