Selling a 1 owner 2005 WRX STi in the only proper color, Word Rally Blue.  The car was bought new in 2005 as a semi-daily driver and track toy.  The body has 51K miles.  The engine was rebuilt 4100 miles ago with mild port work performed on the heads and a stronger clutch.  This car would make an excellent track toy or daily driver.  Asking $24,000

The Good:

- IAG Tuff Block bottom end.  Forged rods and pistons.  Strong enough to support 500hp.

- Cobb V3 Access Port tuned ECU, making 340ft-lb torque, 290hp.  Boost peaks at 19psi tapering to 13psi at redline.

- Cobb Intake and Turbo back exhaust system.

- ACT Clutch

- 51,000 miles on body.  Absolutely no rust, anywhere.

- 2 sets of wheels and tires.

             17x8 OZ Alleggerita 17x8 wheels, (15.6lb) with Toyo R888 Tires 225/45-17

OEM wheels (silver) with 17x8 with Pirelli snow tires.

- Receipts for all maintenance and upgrades, 9-page receipt from IAG alone, and window sticker.

The Bad:

- The car lived outside for its entire life.  The clear coat is damaged in a few places.  Mostly on the trunk lid and rear wing (see photo below).

- Since it was a track car, there are a fair amount of chips and imperfections on the front bumper.

- Three small dents, one door ding on the driver's side rear door, one small dent on the rear of the trunk lid and one small dent above the driver's side rear light (again, see pictures below).

- Paint on the rear of the hood scoop is flaking off, as it does on all STis.

- The car needs brake pads and rotors on all 4 wheels.  Pads and rotors of the buyer's choice will be installed before delivery of the car on a full-price sale.

E-mail me at kenhillmx5@comcast.net for photos of specific areas, or questions about the car.  The car is located in zip code 19608

Hey Ken, are you the Ken Hill that's in (was in?) LVMOC?  If so, hi! Long time no see!

It's Aaron, I was always standing out in my blue RX-8 instead of the Miata, since I always had the wife and baby with me.

In reply to Jerry :

Only driven 51K miles in 13 years.  That's 3900 miles per year.  90% of those 3900 per year were spring, summer, fall.  When the car was driven in the snow and salt, it was washed with an undercarriage blast.

In reply to WonkoTheSane :

Yes, you have the right Ken Hill.  Your baby must be old enough for school now.  How about a nice STi to haul her little butt around?

Seriously, I hope you are well and still have the RX8.

Yes, my baby is in 3rd grade..  And now she has 4 siblings..  We had planned on 3 more, but the "last one" was identical twin boys, so I'm more in the Caravan/Town & Country lifestyle phase of my life.  I do still have the Rx-8 as well as the Miata I had back then.  I've also picked up an older Spec Miata to do track days with.

How's Evan(?) doing?  I hope he's doing well!

All - I've obviously known Ken for a while.  He always had top notch work done on his cars, and he was one (if not THE) best tuners in the SE PA area when I was back in that area.  You can certainly count on things being modded/installed/tuned correctly.   I'd have no hesitation buying from him :)

Seriously, sweet STI :)
