I didn't know these were getting down to this price. NMNA if that isn't obvious.

What's the wood memorizing? How do you get to own one of these and not quite get the English language?
In reply to markwemple:
That is exactly what I've heard. Some of the coupes are getting down around $10k territory. Seems like a lot of car for the money until you see what that transmission costs to service every 10k.

Fixed.
I see a surprising number of these around here.
Absolutely not! Have you heard one of those 4.2L V8s. I wouldn't trade that for an LS. Maybe the squirt though as the ECU is going to be pissed when the flappy paddle disappears.
I know this won't make me many fans, but I HATE the sound of an LS1 (most american V-8s actually) but OMG a Ferrari V-8!!!
"This car will not last long."
kudos to the author of this ad for highlighting the major concern of Maserati ownership. Word is that the clutch pack is diy-able - getting the cost down to more like 1500-1800 instead of 3500-5500. Iffy whether the car needs the ECU synced after the clutch or not (with hard-to-obtain, SD3 diagnostics system)- meaning dealer service. Subscription for SD3 is $1,200/year.
EEEk. I love Ferraris but the notion of trying to maintain one??!! My 996 hasn't cost me any more than a toyota (except the $120 oil changes, I run redline)

When I bought my E55 the dealer had ten or twelve coupes brand new sitting in a wharehouse. He said they were $42k each but had some early model issue so were never sold. I thought it was the trans but it's been eleven years. I should have bought one lol.
Fwiw, the 2006 and up models are supposed to be easier on clutch packs. I fear for myself. The trident beckons me. I will own one. I'll probably regret it. So pretty...
So...Ferrari maintenance with a cheap buy it? Sounds scary.

Easy, there are a lot of people in the United States who make a lot of money (legally) and English is their 2nd or 3rd language.

So pretty indeed, but you will hate yourself very quickly. They are completely worthy of earning the same stigma the biturbo enjoys.
