Let's keep this simple: do you want a cheap Miata that you can drive home? Buy mine. The ownership thread is here.
The car pretty much looks exactly like it does there. One thing to note is that the leather seats were swapped out for cloth ones. I've done expected maintenance on the car since I've owned it. It runs, drives, stops. Good oil pressure. I still cover the top with a tarp when I'm not using it, but it hasn't leaked in light rains when I've forgotten to do so.
Clean (not salvage) NC Title in my name.
GRM price is $3000. My serious intent to make the 2025 Challenge means I need to clear out some cars so I have time/space to work on the Challenge car. My wife is a saint, but I don't want to press my luck too much.
Maybe I missed it, but what is the mileage?
My son is looking for a Miata. Is the trunk paint messed up? Does the AC work?
I'm refraining from what I want to say.
I'm surprised that you haven't sold this already.
In reply to SKJSS (formerly Klayfish) :
225k, probably original engine. Oil pressure is good.
AC works
Paint is awful, everywhere.
The Facebook ad has the older exterior photos, but up to date interior photos.
I've not taken newer ones, yet. I'll work on that over the next few days.
The seats were switched from leather to cloth before I ever bought it.
I went ahead and lowered the price to $3000 for everybody because I'm picking up another WRX today for Challenge purposes. I'm pretty much out of room at the house, so I'll have to be parking one of my running cars elsewhere for a bit.
RacingComputers has stated a serious interest in the car, but it is not final.
Take a trade on a 2002 wrx?
So the NC Miata is closing in on 20 years old? When did that happen?
In reply to David S. Wallens :
While we were wrenching and driving, most likely.
In reply to RacingComputers :
Congrats! What are your plans for it?
