I always thought the C was neat.

I seem to recall that it wasn't quite as fuel-efficient as the standard Prius, but I feel like the packaging is ideal for short-distance commuters and/or city folk.

Very much this. I bought after "consulting" the hive. I travel 25 miles each way to work and get anywhere from 45-60 mpg depending on how I drive it and if I'm heading up the mountains or into the valleys.

the "C" stands for "city." It's aimed squarely at folks in HCOL urban areas

I still got low 50's MPG on the highway with a dying hybrid battery
