I'm starting to see why F B ads sometimes complain that people don't read the ads...
That usually makes me laugh, since almost all ads contradict themselves
But yea, free ain't free, $1234 ain't a sale price, and most ads are bait and switch, or sleazy "Larry the used car salesman" tactics.
Depressing, really.
If I were ever to win copious amount of cash in the lottery, I'd hire about 4 dozen of the sleazyist, boiler-room-iest, debt collection-ey dudes that I could find and pay them to just harass the ever loving E36 M3 out of every one of those ads that they could find. "Yes, I am ready to buy that car for one thousand two hundred and thirty four dollars! I'll be there in an hour with cash!". "I see you have a 2015 Taurus advertisted for $1,500. That's a good deal, I'll buy it for that price!" Just over and over and over and over again until the ad disappears and comes back with a real price.

I've had that thought SO many times, these past few months, while looking for a beater!!!!
Except I don't need to hire 'em. Just wish I had the time to devote to doing it myself!!!
