SOLD SOLD SOLD 8 x 28ft Horton Hauler enclosed trailer. It's mine. SOLD SOLD SOLD. I'm looking to downsize to a smaller trailer, like a 7 x 14 enclosed.
Trailer details: 2005 Horton Hauler 8 x 28ft V-nose enclosed trailer. Rear ramp door, regular side door and two side vents (no holes in the roof). Trailer is wrapped, was owned by a motorcycle dealer before. Can Am Spyder on RH side, Hayabusa on LH side. Back door is blue. See photo album for more pictures, including when I first got it.
GWR is 9990 lbs, axles rated to 10,400 lbs. Overall length including tongue is 36ft, box is 28ft long with a 3ft v-nose, height is 6’ 6”, roof is rounded, made of galvanized metal. Plywood floor and walls inside, aluminum siding on outside. E-track along the walls at the bottom along the entire length, also right above the wheel wells. Easy to tie down with e-track anchors, I have several to go with it. Currently it has an ATW T-Rex 6000 lb winch in the nose with a Marine deep cycle battery. I may keep the winch for the next trailer, price reduced accordingly.
It has two Dexter 5200lb torsion axles with brakes on both axles, nice smooth ride. 4 Goodyear Marathon 225/75/15 tires, load range D, plenty of tread on them, I put them on in 2012. I also have 4 spare tires for it. All brakes are good and bearings have been serviced regularly. It has easy lube spindles, which have a grease fitting on the end, making it easy to lube them.
I have replaced all the marker lights with new ones and all lights work. It has two inside lights on the wall, both are tied into the running lights, so the work only when the running lights are on. Breakaway battery setup on tongue. It has a standard 7-way RV style plug.
Here are the dimensions.
Rear door: 82.5” wide, 79.25” wide at the cables supporting the door.
Inside: 90” between the walls, 82” between wheel wells.
