Those things have serious history. And they were completely used up when parked..

That depends. A1 and A2 values went crazy about ten years ago.

Betcha those CIS units are the super rare vw motorsport ones.
The only VWMS fuel distributors that I am aware of are Pierburg units that went by throttle position. They had a double throttle cable arrangement to the throttle body that positively opened and closed whatever magic valve was in the fuel distributor. I'd like to know more!
