holy mold!
Love the sticker on the steering wheel that translates KPH to MPH for the driver though. How thoughtful.
^I was going to ask the same thing. If you need a sticker to remember the KPH to MPH to conversion, you're not driving the car very often and you're not a cyclist.
I'm very glad I'm not clinically insane and a glutton for punishment with spare cash or I could get myself in a lot of trouble there.
I've wanted an SM for years. I'm glad I'm broke right now, or I'd be, well, broke.
The green toilet bowl floats are the springs, sorta.
This isn't the first time that stash has shown up on Craigslist. It's an annual event. I'd be building an SM hot rod out of one of the bodies , with a Chevy LS and rear wheel drive. I've seen pictures of one done up that way. I've always loved the shape of the car,the complexity much less so.

Fixed that.
Seriously though they seem to go for good money in good shape so you could turn that into two good cars and a ton of parts probably.
Or just a ton of parts naturally.

Also rats, note the tufts of fiberglass insulation on the console in one pic.
The best feature of Citroëns is completely ruined in those cars.(The fabulous awesome groovy yet sleek leather seats). I think the guy has one too many zeros in the asking price.
We're building an SM as a lemons car. They are really neat cars, but I probably won't like it as much when we are done! The interiors are really fabulous, but the leather quality used wasn't very good, so all of the seats are completely trashed unless they have been re-done.

The majority of the build is going to be done in the spring, so we can have it race ready for the summer. Damn work firewall blocks Facebook (not that I use it anyway) so I can't link it, but there's a picture of the car on the website. Look up Three Pedal Mafia and you'll find it.
At the moment, I'm giddy with excitement to lay my hands on it and help with the build. It was one of my favorite cars when I was a kid, even had a poster of it. Somehow I'm guessing after a few hours of laying underneath it, it may ruin all those childhood dreams.

I feel like that is how my wife felt about our first time....

Been to your FB page and I don't see pics. You have 24 hours to produce the good or I start a ban petition.
There are a half dozen pictures on the Facebook page. Just click on the photo area to the left and scroll down, Adrian.
You'll need to log in to post.
