I saw this posted on the MG motorsport forum with the following reply:

The guy's name is Tilat. DO NOT buy this trash. Its local to me (I drive past the building all the time). Picture MN winters, wet dirt floor, lots of condensation from the freeze/thaw cycle, 40 years in storage. Search this forum for cars for sale in Shakopee, MN. Several members have bought cars from this guy all across the US, Canada, and Germany. Most have sued. The seller does nothing but lie and steal. One was an MGA twincam, another sale was for 3 MGCs if you feel like searching out the details. There was also a known lawsuit (Tilat told me himself) from a buyer in Iowa over an AH3000. I've met the guy a few times, nothing but bad news. 0% trustworthy

So buyer beware...

Well this all sounds dramatic.

Neat pile of cars though!

Maybe the sellers major event is jail?

He did say something like "before the doctor gives me the bad news," but that's something a shyster would say to get people to act perhaps too quickly on a purchase.

If I'm looking at a 60's era SCCA race car for less that a grand I'm expecting a little shystering.

Lol. That's what I was thinking. Kinda hard to get burned on 4 cars for $2500

I don't see anything in that listing that says $2500 for four cars, or under a grand for one...

but I do agree, that price may be listed just to grab attention.

This certainly must be your first time on Craigslist.

It doesn't say $2500 for 4 cars.  It doesn't even say $2500 for one car.

Slight aside, but this Craigslist tactic always cracks me up. Do these sellers really think that they will lure a potential high-roller cost-no-object buyer in with the stated low price, then notify said buyer that the stated price was only for clicks, and the actual price is $2500 per car, or $4000 per car, or whatever, and the potential buyer will happily play along and fork over a ton of cash?
