so it isn't a 97.  And the list of things you'd need to finish the swap is longer than my........desire to take on another project.

But this is localish to me and might be a good project for someone.

Asking $1200

Who wouldn't want a tub and a random junkyard engine and a random junkyard trans without a bellhousing? It's basically finished!

Maybe he's basing the year on the wheels. Because they are 1996/97 wheels :)

Am I missing something, or is the car actually fairly decent?  Bought together there should be something in flipping the engine and putting together the car

The car has no engine, so you'd have some work ahead of you to put it together depending on how enthusiastically it was torn apart. It has at least two dents on the side but it's impossible to really evaluate from those crap pictures. I've certainly seen worse but I wouldn't say "fairly decent" based on the evidence given here.

Dont forget the junkyard rear end that's been sitting in the gravel without axles in it for an unkown amount of time!

At a lower price point this could be the good start of a challenge build though.

Ahh, the dents are hard to see on a phone.

You'll need to log in to post.
