I am selling my 65 mustang coupe. I wanted to give you guys first crack at it. I havent figured out pics on the new format so if youre interested let me know and I will send you some.

Body; There are a few rust bubbles here and there on the exterior, nothing major, it looks great from 30 feet. I have replaced the floorpans, rear frame rails, and trunk floors, so its really solid. If you want car show quality it will need some work, but good for cruising, and its all one color (rangoon red) that shines up nice. All the lights work.

Engine; 351 windsor from an 89 F350. Its got new rings, new rod and main bearings. New flat top pistons. Edelbrock intake and four barrel carb. GM style HEI distributor. New water pump and hoses. Four core radiator. Dual exhaust with flowmasters. Runs great, sounds great.

Trans; Toploader four speed, non-overdrive, rebuilt. New clutch. Hurst comp plus shifter.

Rear diff; open 8 inch with 3.55 gears. New bearings.

Brakes; Four wheel manual drums. New hoses and lines, shoes wheel cylinders and master cylinder. They work well, but do pull a bit to one side. Adjustments would probably cure this.

Manual steering. All the linkage is tight and good. It does need an alignment, I was planning on having this done before the sale.

Interior; The seats are good, they are black vynil. The glass is all there. There is a stone chip in the windshield, but not cracked. The door panels are good. Its got four lap belts. No carpet. The dash pad is crappy. The headliner is ripped, I put safety pins in it to keep it from flapping. The heater isnt hooked up, I'm pretty sure the heater core leaks. All the gauges work. The original A.M. radio is still installed, and makes static out of the dash speaker, but there isn't an antenna on the car. If you add one the radio will probably work.

All of this stuff that is new has been installed in the last couple years and has less than 5000 miles on it. The only driving issues are the pull, which I think an alignment should cure, and the car has no fan shroud, so if you get it up to temp and sit with it running and not moving it will get hot. It should either have a fan shroud installed or an electric fan added. Since we don't have traffic jams in my area it has never been an issue for me.

I am also including a 289  two barrel engine that has 1965 date code if you want to install the correct engine. I pulled the heads years ago and I think the bores looked good but the valve train was in really crappy shape, you should probably just consider it a rebuilder.

Also included will be the complete fuel injection from the donor f350 if you want to go injected. I didn't because the internet says the manifold wont fit under the factory hood.

The car is located in Botkins Ohio.

EDIT; After seeing what others are asking for theirs i am raising the price. I have it on CL for $8200 but that price has haggle room built in.
