That’s a whole lota Mercury
$5000, and the classic story of "one owner, stored in barn for 50 years" ... but I actually believe this one.
I could put eyes on that for someone; from the ad I believe the claim of 37K original miles to be legit, not turned over a time or three as so many 5 place odometers are!

I love cars that have architecture. Awnings, cantilever decks, support pillars. This has it all. What a beautiful barge!
Love the Breezeway window.

How about that! I haven't seen one since high school and couldn't remember what it was called. Friend had one and there was all the room in the world in there. Icy day he kinda ran over a kid walking home from school. Turned out funny. He was in a slide and the dude was saggin so couldnt really run. Dude ended up jumping onto the hood and riding it the rest of the way until it stopped in a yard, then he jumped off and ran-ish.
That's amazing.
330 HP is common now, but I bet that was the bee's knees back then.

A member here has a build thread on his Mercury Park Lane. It's a good read and he uses the car regularly.
That thing on bags would rule.

I think this is the tread above.
I was surprised it took that long for the connection! Although his is a Monterey, I have no clue of the differences. Maybe just a trim level, but might be slightly different body's.
I remember his is the 390, and this one has the high end 410
Parklane is a higher trim level.
