is it bad that I really like the tiki theme? 

Okay that's really cool.  

Looks chunky 

I'm not sure how I feel about it (I think I like it?), but I can certainly appreciate the effort that's been put into that interior.

I never noticed one before , and  the Tiki  interior is cool , 

I needs to be an Airport Hotel pick-up  car in Hawaii

Oh man that's cool and my kids would LOVE it. Especially with the rear hinged back doors. What fun!

It's chronologically appropriate too, since the car was made during probably the high point of interest in tiki stuff in the US 

I'm looking for a beach cruiser (and could be talked into the tiki theme), but I prefer the earlier cars (and want a 'vert)
