Shockingly, for that price "IT DON'T RUN"

At least they aren't calling it a 911.

But it does appear to be a 1 of 3000 Martini Championship Edition.

Based on the stripes, that might actually be one of the Martini special edition cars.

Martini Championship Edition 924

The Martini Championship Edition 924 was limited to 3,000 examples, all of them painted the exact same way: Pure white paint, with Martini racing stripes around the body.

It should have the better transaxle in it also, I remember that being one of the draws. I still have the dash plaque from mine on my toolbox.

Not Challenge priced ($5,500), but here's another. To me it's a little too much project for the price, but a very cool car.

This could make for a really interesting challenge project. I've long thought about using engines from powercraft in cars. A big two stroke jet ski motor would be much easier to integrate with the transaxle than a regular transmission as far as I can tell. Has there ever been a two stroke challenge car?
