Yeah, what's up with that? Never seen that kind of damage before.
Great color, though.

The shiny pics where there is no bent, bumper damage and so on, are 10 years old
He says in the ad 'the last three pictures are of another car optioned exactly like mine'.
Those are the ones marked 2013.

Ah I see now. It'd be a nice one restored but it's too far for me to be sufficiently tempted.

You've gotta want one. This is almost a free car as the manual option is essentially worth the price. Add tin top to anyone that wants to track it and you're ahead of the game. Plus these early cars are noticeably lighter to the cars built a few years later.

I think that is just missing paint or black paint. You can see cloud reflections in some of it.
Kid pulled it from a Junkyard local to him a few weeks ago. Being an early minerva, manual car is def worth saving.

Who's the u boat commander
I knew someone would get it!
It doesn't look that bad to me. Manual transmission + tin top + rare color are neat. It probably wound up in the junkyard for a reason, but it's probably salvageable at that kind of $$.

I know this is a special Porsche no doubt about it. And the 928 was a huge leap for Porsche and it's a cool car. I still remember the first time I road in one in the early 80s when I was very young. I also remember my first ride in a C2 Corvette and my first ride in a C3 Corvette, and then there was my rides in a Plymouth Superbird and a Pantera. The 928 is a very memorable car for me. Like I said though this one is too far away for me to be interested right now.
