Isn't that one of those 4-cylinders made from a half a V8 and uses a V8 cylinder head? They've used them in marine applications from time to time.....
Yeah, looks like a Super Duty Pontiac engine. (SD4).
The underside looks...not so great. Not sure if it's bad rust repair or rough fab work. Still better than anything I could ever build. Bonus points for A/C!
IIRC the 181 is a derivative of the 153 Nova 4 cylinder, which was a stovebolt 6 minus 2 cylinders. NOT the 151 duke.
Also, auto trans on a a screamer 4 banger?
