I was actually hoping this was the sedan.
For $3K, you might be able to fix the A/C and still have a decent car on a budget. I have seen 1 or 2 V6 Mustang convertibles with questionable air in this price range....I think I would rather have a Mustang.
Had a 1985 LeBaron GTS (virtually the same car) as my High School beater. About $20 at Home Depot, and I could run about 18 psi of boost. At least briefly, before the engine spectacularly exploded in our High School parking lot. Taught me importance of boost and fuel management.
